African Ceremonial Staff

This unusual piece of African art was once used as a ritual staff for sacred Yoruba ceremonies that promoted fertility and productivity. It is made of metal, forged by blacksmiths, and hammered with complex geometric designs. The staff sits in its own stand, and is one-of-a-kind.
